AAPI stands for Asian American and Pacific Islander. This incredibly diverse group comprises about 50 ethnic groups from over 40 countries speaking over 100 languages! The name does not intend to lump people together under one title but rather to celebrate and honor those from various heritages and cultures.

For example, AAPI Heritage Month seeks to bring awareness and celebrate the many achievements, accomplishments, and milestones of the broader AAPI community in the U.S. while sharing specific time-honored traditions from different groups. What is it?

Osmanthus is a flowering plant native to eastern Asia—China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc. It has a sweet floral-fruity scent, like peach or apricot, making it the perfect natural scent to use in skincare products. It’s also often used to make summery Osmanthus tea. 

What does it do?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Osmanthus was used to prevent dry skin, dry mouth, excessive thirst, and upper respiratory conditions. However, for skin, Osmanthus contains lots of antioxidants to help detoxify the body, replenish moisture, and make skin brighter and clearer.
